If 2020 was a blog it would be SlickTruth. Not because it sucked. Not because it was pointless. Because it was unbelievable, but True.
As we leave 2020 in hindsight some look for a beacon of hope that this year will be better than last. From fantastical notions of the “Christmas Star” to the dawning of the Age of Aquarius people desperately scheme to inject some hope and meaning into these crazy times.
Unfortunately, adding a digit to the year will do nothing to bring the old normal back. Welcome to a Brave New World where it’s always 1984 and it’s 451° Fahrenheit.
Put in the hot seat many have been faced with no choice but to redefine normal in order to survive. With the kids home from school and many unable to return to work some have become increasingly resourceful in finding ways to adjust to this great reset.
Because I’m a Hypocrite I can’t offer you much advise on how to get your shit together this year. But hopefully I can entertain you. As I will be working less odd jobs I will be putting out more frequent content than I have in the past.
Slicktruth may not be the beacon of hope and meaning that humanity is searching for. It’s not the Christmas Star, nor the second coming of Jesus. But, it is the best blog in the world. And that’s the Slick Truth.
Happy New Year! and, as always,
Thanks for Reading

Are you saying you didn’t have enough time in your day until now to write this drivel?
Slick says
That one guy, Finally someone left me a comment that I anticipated. Way to keep it real, like using a fake name. But hey, there’s always that one guy.

No dude, he’s saying now he has more. Not the brightest bulb are ya…..

There is nothing wrong with That one guy’s comment. It’s honest and relevent. I welcome any and all criticism. I wouldn’t write stuff like this if I didn’t expect it. But nameless trolling is sort of like making prank telephone calls and breathing in someone’s ear.
